We feature two halls, one with the Plus program and Rounds and the other with the Mainstream program and Lines. The weekend begins: Friday night at 7:45 with dancing in both halls; around 11:00 P.M. we break to change clothes and start a singing call after party. The callers will call all singing calls, with some clowning around, as long as there are dancers on the floor. That is generally around 3:00 A.M. Saturday morning has line dancing in one hall and round dancing in the other hall. Saturday afternoon has another round dance teach in one hall and a square dance workshop (really a funshop) and callerama in the other hall. This year we also did an introduction to contra dancing. Saturday night begins with a grand march at 7:30, followed by dancing in both halls; around 11:00 P.M. we break to change clothes and start a singing call after party. The callers will call all singing calls, with some clowning around, as long as there are dancers on the floor. That is generally around 3:00 A.M. |
